We have built a whole new workflow for New Zealand Company Registrations, making it easy and simple to add all necessary information for the company registration from one screen.

Company Registrations Screen
The Company Registrations screen contains a list of all the company registrations prepared in CAS 360.
The Company Registrations screen can be filtered using the Advanced Filter:

Clicking Copy Company will create a duplicate company in the company incorporations screen carrying over all the company details from the company that you copied from. This helps users register companies with almost identical details to another company.

To prepare a new Company Registration, click

Complete each section detailing information for the company. The sections required include: Details, Addresses, Officers and Shareholders.
Once a section has been completed, CAS 360 will mark the section using

The Details screen contains basic company details such as the Company Name, Status, Type, Class and Sub Class.

Addresses
The Addresses tab is for the address information for the company.
New Zealand companies have a Registered Office Address, Address for Service, Address for Communication and addresses for the location of Registers.

A director of a company is a person who is responsible for managing the company’s business activities. When a person is acting as a director, they must act in the best interests of the company. Each type of company must have at least one member (shareholder) and at least one director. A director can also be a member of a company, which is common with small types of companies.
All New Zealand companies must have at least one director who lives in:
- New Zealand, or
- Australia, and who is a director of a company incorporated in Australia.

Certificate Type |
CAS 360 will automatically select Transaction. Users can Choose between Balance, Transaction or None Note: CAS will determine the most appropriate type of certificate for the current share transaction. If the person is transferring or redeeming all their shares, CAS will determine that NO share certificate is required. If the person is transferring or redeeming some of their shares, CAS will determine that a BALANCE share certificate is required. Otherwise, CAS will select a TRANSACTION share certificate. |

This will be the share certificate number. CAS 360 will automatically pre-fill a number based on any previously entered shareholders. |
Meeting Status

Select the meeting status of the member which will display on the Resolutions.

The information you provide as part of this application will not be stored by the Companies Office and will be passed to Inland Revenue at the time the company is incorporated.
A Business Industry Classification (BIC) code is a way of classifying a self-employed person or business by their main activity. Activity means the service or product a business or self-employed person provides to others.

After the Company Registration has been lodged and accepted, the company will be listed on the Company Selection Screen.

From the Main Toolbar, go to Documents |

To file company registration to Companies office, click Lodge
Note
The Company Registration itself will need to be filed first before filing the director and shareholder consents.
A confirmation message will display to ensure users are not accidentally lodging the incorrect changes.
Users can proceed with the filing by clicking
The Company Registration screen in CAS360 will automatically check the Companies Office to get the registration status while the registration is being processed.
You can also check the registration status by manually selecting the refresh button.
Post Incorporation Document
Once the Company Registration Documents have been lodged, CAS 360 will generate a number of Post Incorporation Documents
