CAS 360 gives you the ability to prepare documents to reserve a company name which can be applied at some time in the future. A reservation is not required prior to changing a name.

Select Company Name Reservation
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Jurisdiction | Select New Zealand |
Company Type | Types of companies include Limited, Unlimited, and Co-operative. |
Proposed Name |
Input the name to be reserved. As enter a name, CAS 360 will instantly be checking that name against the Companies Office database. This check will help you ensure that your proposed name is available. |
Authorised Signatory | Select a Signatory from your list of agents in the Lodgement/Agent Settings. |

Lodgement
Once the Company Name Reservation documents have been prepared, the reservation can then be lodged from the Documents Screen.
From the Main Toolbar, go to Documents |

In the Documents screen, locate the reservation documents. You can use the search filter to locate the reservation by entering the proposed company name
Beside the company name reservation, click
CAS 360 will display a confirmation screen.
Lodgment Status and Expiry date
After the Company Name Reservation has been lodged and accepted, CAS 360 will specify the days til the reservation expires
The Expiry Column will specify the days until the reservation expires
Deleting a Name Reservation
Once the Company Name Reservation documents have been prepared or have been rejected, they can then be deleted from the Name Reservations Screen.
From the Main Toolbar, go to Company. |

From the Company Screen, select Company Registrations | |
Select Name Reservations |
In the Name Reservations screen, locate the reservation documents.
Beside the company name reservation, click
Select Delete.
