Change of Director's name - can this be done in CAS360?

    Thank you for reaching out in the community!

    To answer your question, a director’s name change needs to be updated in both Companies Office and CAS 360. At this stage, there is no API available to file company changes directly with Companies Office directly.

    It’s important that the name change is completed in Companies Office first. If the director’s name is updated in CAS 360 without being updated in Companies Office, this will trigger a Health Check error for the company in CAS 360.

    To change a director's name in CAS 360, please follow these steps: 

    1. Log in to your Online Services account.
    2. Navigate to the Directors tab and update the director’s details.
      (For step-by-step guidance, please refer to Updating a director’s details.)
    3. From CAS 360, locate the director's contact from the Global Contact screen, then update the director's contacts accordingly.
